Research Topic Selection
- Topics are selected during the Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) meetings through a presentation-voting process.
- Selected research topics must be pre-competitive and should avoid proprietary information or data.

- Government agencies and laboratories
- State and local governments
Membership Packages
Full Members
- Entitled to 1 vote on research topics.
- Have full access to research outcomes and patents.
- Are allotted full number of seats in the online training courses each semester.
Associate Members
- Entitled to 0.5 vote on research topics.
- Don’t have rights to research outcomes. Can only observe research presentations.
- Are allotted half number of seats in the online training courses each semester.
